Brrrr... It was cold! Below freezing when the Mansfield Village Easter Egg Hunt began April 7th at 10:00 am, but the kids came rolling in anyway! The eggs were ready, thanks to our team... Neal Clark, Josh Benson, Donnette Brewer, Becky Lonberger, Rick Hannah, April Zettler, Bobbie Kline, Marji Lonberger and the teens that helped stuff the eggs with candy; Damian, Alicia, Maria, Mikayla. Donnette was our shopper for the candy and the prizes... great job!

This was our chance to reach out to the community. You can see there was a great crowd, in spite of the temperature. Special thanks to the Mansfield General Store for the extra “surprizes” in a few eggs in each age group, and especially to the Village Board of Mansfield. Your Village Board was very supportive financially, thank you!

The First Mid-Illinois Bank & Trust also helped with a donation as well as the Mansfield Community Church of the Nazarene picking up the rest that was needed and supplying the people-power that made it happen.
